Ahlsell’s digital transformation journey is under way and at our head office in Marievik we are now building our internal software development department. Our vision is to create a department characterized by collaboration and innovation, continuously exploring new technologies and working according to agile methodologies.
As such we are now looking for lead developers to join our organization. Joining us at the early stages of our digital journey offers a unique opportunity to help us build and influence our organization’s digital direction.
About the role
As lead developer you will lead the development of new products and services, collaborating closely with our product owners and participating in technical decision making. You are expected to contribute with your ideas and previous experiences to help our new department grow and develop.
The work focuses on different areas related to our e-commerce, mobile store and other user facing solutions. This can include both web and app development, as well as development of related systems. You will be a part of an agile, autonomous, team, emphasizing collaboration and continuous learning.
To succeed in this position, we believe that you have:
- 6+ years of experience working as a developer
- A real passion for coding, this is what you want to focus on for the next couple of years
- Experience in some of the following: C# and .NET, React, Node.js, React Native
It’s a big plus if you also have:
- Leadership experience
- Experience working with integrations
- A background in e-commerce or retail
