About the Role

You will join the e-commerce Team, working on Ahlsell’s e-commerce platform that powers our websites and mobile apps. Your mission is to develop and maintain robust, scalable solutions that deliver an outstanding user experience for our customers and internal users. Join us as we modernize our technology stack to build scalable, cloud-ready solutions that power the e-commerce at Ahlsell Group. We are on a journey to modernize our stack, making it more scalable, cloud-ready, and future-proof. You’ll play a key role in implementing observability, distributed systems best practices, and testability across our platforms.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack solutions for our e-commerce platform.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions supporting microservices, event-driven patterns, and modern integration strategies.
• Implement observability and monitoring using tools like Grafana and OpenTelemetry to ensure reliability and performance.
• Ensure testability and maintainability through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work across the stack: front-end (React), back-end (.NET/C#), and databases.
• Optimize performance and scalability for distributed systems.

Who are you?

• Proven experience with C#/.NET for backend and React for frontend.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Azure, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems principles, scalability, and resilience.
• Experience with databases and full-stack development in e-commerce or B2B environments.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and collaborative team work.

 Location and Position Details:

• This role can be carried out from an Ahlsell office location in any of our locations within Sweden or remotely, working from home.
• This is a permanent, full-time position.
